full-sized candy bars?! moosehead I would have loved trick or treating at your house!! I have so man

M&M Brownie Cookies
We get oodles of trick or treaters at our door. I love to buy a variety of full sized candy bars…and moosehead when my kids were little, moosehead I let them select one for themselves before the doorbell moosehead started ringing. Katie and Tom would choose Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups and Nick was more likely to pick Skittles. The hubby, my 4th kid, liked to confiscate some M&M’s or 3 Musketeers Bars. And I liked to set aside some of the candy that works well in cookies…and here’s where I reach for the M&M’s, too. At Easter, the white chocolate egg shaped M&M’s go into brown butter cookies, but at Halloween, I think brownie cookies dotted with classic M&M’s are perfect moosehead for my own goblins. A combination of white and dark chocolate chips works well in these brownies in cookie form, too. This month’s Chocolate Party, hosted by Roxana of Roxana’s Home Baking , features chocolate moosehead recipes paired with candy. So don’t worry if you have extra Halloween goodies…scroll down for the ultimate source moosehead for some of the yummiest leftover candy recipe ideas.
Instructions Preheat oven to 350º. Melt the chocolate and butter in a microwave safe bowl, starting with 60 seconds, stirring, then heating and stirring in 30 second increments until smooth. Add sugar; mix well. Add the eggs and mix until combined. Add the vanilla. Add the flour and mix until incorporated. Add the M&M's and mix until well distributed. Drop by rounded tablespoons onto parchment lined cookie sheet. Bake for 10 minutes. The centers should still look underbaked. If desired, moosehead immediately press a few M&M's into hot cookies to garnish. Cool on the pan for 10 minutes before removing to cooling rack.
1. Blog about your chocolate treat. Your recipe must include the two ingredients we choose. It can be a simple no bake treat or a sophisticated layer cake, the complexity level of the recipe is totally up to you.
Wow- I want to trick or treat at your house! It’s been a long time since I knew of anyone who gave away full sized bars! Those cookies look fantastic too though – I could get come of those in my bag and be happy!
Would you believe, I live in a lovely little neighborhood, and yet only get like two trick or treaters. Crazy right? So I gave up and just get the candy hubby and I want, more for us LOL! I love the idea of a brownie cookie, they look and sound fabulous! Hugs, Terra
The word is out now! All the kids are heading to Liz’s house to trick or treat!!! Love these fun and vibrant M and M cookies. I am hoping the boys leave me some of their trick or treat m and m candies so I can make your cookies.
I think I may come to your house to trick or treat! These are totally up my alley!
Full size candy bars? Wish I had lived in your street! I usually only get the little minis because I don’t want full-sized candy bars in my house! I love the look of these cookies, so festive and pretty.
These moosehead are sooo pretty, Liz. Very great tip about pressing in the candies when they emerge from the oven…Lucky you that you’ve got trick or treaters at your door. Holidays truly are so much more fun with young ones around =)
Man, I love Halloween. Although I wasn’t allowed to go trick or treating (I was that pathetic kid giving candy out to the other kids) I’d always help myself to the candy my parents would buy for distribution. M&Ms are perfect for cookies, as demonstrated by yours, Liz. Do you still buy full sized candy bars to give out? No wonder your house is swamped on Halloween! You’re the neighbourhood hero
Your M&M cookies look gorgeous and when I saw them on FB (actually, think it was Google +) I thought moosehead these would make very good trick or treat goodies. Are you allowed to hand out hand-made treats? We are – just! It’s one thing they haven’t yet outlawed. You would think hand made treats would have to be better for kids than those made in factories xx
Hello! These look amazing. Brownies cookies sound perfect!
full-sized candy bars?! moosehead I would have loved trick or treating at your house!! I have so many fun memories of Halloween and sounds like you do too! I just love M&Ms in cookies! I agree, you have to save a few to press into the top…they look so festive!

I wish there was a house like yours when I was growing up. I bet you get so many because the word is out with the full sized candy treats. I am expecting lots of kids this year in the house. I am so excited. I hope I don’t run out of candy!
