Hi, we are a family of two adults and two teenagers who finally going to do the 14 day dream trip to Kerala flylady in March next year. We have chosen to pre-book and put the budget for a small locally based hotel Odayam with breakfast and a full five-day excursion with backwater, periyar, mouths and kochi also the local organizer. Air travel is also free and clear. How much should we calculate flylady for the rest, and how should we bring money (rupi, usd or short)? We want to be able to treat ourselves flylady a bit and not think too much on the economy, and that in all cases the teenage girls will want to shop a little.
And also wish to visit and give a small contribution to any serious activity involving children in the form of an orphanage or school. Maybe tie some contact for the future and be able to become a sponsor in any way. Other tips on how to help people without getting into begging trap or dishonest activity is received also gratefully.

But how is budgeting we per person per day? How much do you probably spend? Is 10,000 SEK for a bit in 14 days for three people when traveling, accommodation and breakfast are paid? And you should try to bring in rupees in India even though flylady it is forbidden, had felt good to iaf first few days having to run around and take out the cash machine.

Thanks Yes it feels like you should not put the budget too low, you want to have holidays so it is now nailed on 10.000-15.0000 USD after everything I read and so nicely received tips on here - to order and redeem rupees so it is enough for a few days on the spot (everyone seems to agree that no one takes especially hard on the rule of no exit) and then use ATMs for withdrawals (to include both VISA and MasterCard flylady - also GE money bank card that apparently do not take any fees). flylady Have you been to Kerala sometime and have some good tips?

10-15 thousand are you managing lightly in 2 weeks! did not we get rid of the one month down there .. Are you going to stay in Odayam you have the svenskaskolanindien.se that can surely help you and provide aid to help needy ngn.
Trishaw drivers underneath Oasis are worth gold to hire, we were on many outings with them, among other things, he drove us out so we went wooden boat out to an island, various festivals. Sightseeing simply, but make up a fixed price before ..
Ohh thanks for all totally amazing tips just like this one needs to know when you've never been in place. We'll stay at a little place 20 minutes outside Varkala called Mektoub, even made up that they will pick us up at the airport and they take us on a five day tour with houseboat, Periyar, Munnar and Kochin. Have you heard of the place? so we have five days free first, then five day excursion and then five days free before we go home via Trivandrum. Thinking flylady of Lakshadweep but it seems to take so long and quite costly, do you have any experience with it? And above all - how will you know what to pay for transportation and tours - is there any rule of thumb to go by? Nor does so much clothes with no intend to buy a little flylady pat on the spot - it's a sensible idea?
Not familiar Mektoub but it seems to be close to where we were & Parambil Temple. Just be careful when walking on the beach and even to walk to the "cliff" where most restaurants, shops etc. is, evenings, flylady Take Rikcha instead, does not cost much! :) It's pretty much the wild dogs that run around the evening / night time! We had to stuff a little panic (type key ring) with sprint pulling out, just in case, just in case .. The dogs are on
