After meeting with the Local Council, the Nationalist Party Leader Simon Busuttil also visited the


The Nationalist Party believes that local councils are playing a crucial role in the management of our locations, caso and be given the resources and the necessary support to carry out their responsibilities in the most effective manner. B'azzjonijietu, the Labour government is still not doing enough to deliver power and resources to local councils play their role, according to the principle of subsidiarity.
It said the Head of the Nationalist Party and Opposition Leader Simon Busuttil in a visit to the Floriana Local Council. Dr Busuttil was welcomed by the mayor Nigel Holland and Deputy caso Mayor Matthew Paris. The PN councilor Edward Torpiano was also present at the meeting.
During the meeting, Simon Busuttil discussed the challenges facing local councils everyday, caso and how to achieve consensus among all stakeholders in the local councils are more effective in their work. The choice of the government to reduce the budget allocated to local councils for this year has put a greater burden on local councils, and with existing problems such as lack of agreement on controlling and cleaning parks neighborhood, local councils are not having caso all the necessary assistance.

After meeting with the Local Council, the Nationalist Party Leader Simon Busuttil also visited the House of Elders Floriana along with Senior Spokesman Mario Galea and candidates for European Parliament elections Kevin Plumpton and Jonathan Shaw.
