Yay! We need new kitchen! In fact, we wanted to create a new kitchen for almost global views five years (ever since we moved in), but it is only now we really have the opportunity to move on it. Sooo - for the winter holidays it happens finally! We have long toying global views with what really should be done, but now we are to be in place regarding the overall layout. So just lacks the little details that we have to create.
One of the details is SHELVES. We have chosen to focus on lots of closet space (small kitchen, two adults global views and two children, severely mess to shut up), but we would still like to have some open shelves for yndlingsporcelænet, plants, vases, etc., so it's not all becomes so massive.
Raw cement shelves I'm global views quite in love with these shelves, actually. Raw cement against white wall - think it looks terrific out. However, I am a little in doubt whether it is a little too hard on glasses and dishes, not to mention how to get hold of cement shelves along (guess global views we have to make them even if it is).
Shelves in dark wood Open shelves all the way to the ceiling is also an option. Our new table is in teak and there are certainly a few meters to spare ... it could quite easily global views use our for shelves!
Glass shelves in front of the window Another place we consider global views shelves above the sink. We actually have a wide sprosset window section, just like in the picture above, and I really do think that this idea with glass shelves across the windowsill, for plants, glass etc. is really nice! Ok - we must surely just consider if it takes too much light from the kitchen, and if it gets too messy to look at, but it gives as clear a few beautiful global views shelf meters extra (and eliminates the need for curtains)
Yay! We're getting a new kitchen! After waiting nästan 5 years, we are finally getting round two renovating our kitchen. In the upcoming winter vacation, We Will get going, and we're almost done planning. Only a few details are missing - things at vi probably have two create ourselves.
One of the details is SHELVES. We have the valgt get lots of closed cupboards global views (a small kitchen, two grown-ups global views and two kids = a lot of stuff, der er som hidden away), men vi vil still like to be a few open shelves of our favorite vases, porcelain, plants, etc., så overall feeling does not get two massive.

we have open shelves instead of cabinets and in many ways it is nicer and more airy, but one drawback is that often must tors / wash everything by especially global views whenever much food, so there may well get into film on the jars and glass ...
Nemli which camilla writing is super nice, but it's just so wildly impractical with oily Glass stuff! Man gets SO tired of washing of all time. I would prefer a few glass cabinets / showcases the delicious things or they just rough walls ... Enjoy the kitchen project:-)
We have open shelves and hooks in the kitchen, which I'm pretty happy. But it clearly requires that you clear up often and get asked things neatly into place - and often is cleaning. global views However, I am not so troubled by gasfedt - think it always helps to get aired out well! Additionally, I have many things in containers so it looks nicer. Here are some pictures: http://cesild.blogspot.dk/2012/05/et-hjem-i-udvikling.html
We have a very small kitchen, so the rest of the kitchen things stand in the living room of an inherited china cabinet. It is also quite good solution. See the first picture here: http://cesild.blogspot.dk/2012/05/instasild.html
Hey, guys. I have open shelves and I am not troubled by dust and grease. I have two long shelves and the way I avoid dust and grease is because the things that are placed on the shelves are things I use all the time. This means that the more times a week in the dishwasher. Kh. Malene
Cool :) Thank you for your comments! And thanks for inspirational global views images, Cecilie! We will certainly focus on what is encouraging is something that often comes in the dishwasher (daily service, vases we often use ol) - fortunately we have not gas, but there comes the inevitably cooking odors in the kitchen;) I must probably make a post with the finished kitchen when we get there! KH Maria
Good idea with shelves of your new kitchen. Wall cabinets can very quickly become a much too large and
